Act now to save California's oldest trees
The Heritage Tree Preservation Act, SB 754 (Perata), which would ban cutting of California's last remaining old-growth redwood, Port Orford cedar, and Douglas-fir trees, has passed the state Senate and is pending in the state Assembly Natural Resources Committee.
